TASTING NOTES
Slightly coppery orange in colour, Amfòra, our maceration wine, has an unusual and very interesting range of aromas, with subtle notes of flowers, predominantly rose, quince and apple. The palate is very delicate, fresh, smooth and harmonious. Floral and fruity aromas come through, finishing with a slight touch of bitterness provided by light tannins that leave a pleasant impression of freshness and tension.
WINE-MAKING & AGEING
Macerated orange wine, naturally produced without sulphites or yeast The grapes are macerated with all their solid parts (seeds, skin) for three months. The components of the skin release pigments and tannins, which give the wine its orange colour. The wine is then pressed slowly and carefully. The wine is then matured in terracotta amphorae, which are porous enough to allow regular oxygenation, while reducing acidity and rounding out the tannins. Aged in amphora on lees until bottling. No fining. Light filtration just before bottling.
