The Vineyard – A True Expression of an Exceptional Terroir
In the heart of Hérault, near the charming village of Pézenas, the Villa Noria vineyard spans 90 hectares where passion, tradition, and nature come together to create wines of rare uniqueness.
An alchemy of soil, climate, and ancestral know-how
Wine is born from the magical encounter between a specific terroir and a carefully selected grape variety. At Villa Noria, we believe the difference between a good wine and a great wine lies in the subtle balance of soil, climate, and mastery of ancestral techniques. Our estate enjoys a privileged environment, nestled between the mild Mediterranean and mountainous landscapes, where generous sunlight imparts power, aromatic richness, and freshness to our wines.
Terroirs with unique character
Our geological diversity offers a range of terroirs with varied profiles, each contributing its unique touch to our vintages:

Located at the foot of volcanic slopes, these cool soils give rise to wines of remarkable finesse.
Les Colombiers

Composed of gravel from ancient alluvial terraces, they bring structure and elegance.
La Peyrière

Located on ancient alluvial terraces of the Hérault, these terroirs rich in gravel offer well-draining soils similar to those in Médoc or Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Ideal for Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauvignon Blanc, with mild water stress beneficial to ripening.
La Pierre Plantée

Clay-limestone soils, this terroir in the Picpoul de Pinet AOP expresses all the freshness and liveliness of our region.
La Serre
A respectful and committed approach to viticulture
Since 2010, our estate has been managed under organic farming. Surrounded by hedgerows, our vineyards are protected from chemical treatments and serve as refuges for biodiversity. This ecological approach aims to preserve the natural balance, promote wildlife, and produce authentic wines that faithfully reflect our terroir.
